Beyoncé feierte Anfang des Jahres mit der Chartstürmer-Single ‚Break My Soul‘ sowie dem neuen Album ‚Renaissance‘ ein Karriere-Comeback und erhielt Nominierungen in den Kategorien ‚Record of the Year’, ‚Song of the Year,‘ ‚Album of the Year‘, ‚Best New Artist’, ‚Best R’n‘B Song‘, ‚Best Dance/Electronic Music Album‘, ‚Best R’n‘B Performance‘ und ‚Best Song Written For Visual Media‘.
